A Slice of Life Family Photo Sessions

Your family keeps you on your toes! Life moves at lightning speed. And, you keep thinking about booking a family session, but you haven’t.

Well, now is the time to pick up the phone and chat with me, because I know what it’s like. You wish you’d done it sooner and you wish you’d done it at every milestone. Don’t worry though, starting a family tradition works anytime.

And, when you work with me, I take your mind off all the things that make you feel like family portraits are too much work – like deciding which images will look best on the wall.

I encourage real family moments, like ice cream dates, Christmas tree hunts or pancake breakfast pajama parties. Plus, I offer tips on wardrobe that won’t send you to the mall for hours to find full matching outfits.

I wholeheartedly believe your memories deserve to go beyond the digital screen. So, I do hope you will invite me
to help choose the best images to decorate your walls and coffee table.

Michele Mateus has photographed our family on several occasions, rolling with all the unexpected moments, to create lovely and REAL depictions of who we are and how we are. I think her personal and photographic skills are exceptional, and I would recommend her for anyone looking to hire someone who can capture an event or individual with candid beauty.

On photo day she was confident and creative with her shots. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable, which is so important for photos. We were laughing the whole time! Moreover, she made me feel so beautiful- which at 36 weeks pregnant can be a bit harder.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Michele do our holiday portraits. I wanted a fun session that showed our personalities in a fun natural way. Our usually fun-loving toddler was not wanting to cooperate in any which way or form, as toddlers tend to do. Michele worked her magic…

…She captures the most genuine and sincere moments. It’s such a gift to catch those “in the moment” moments where you truly see the connections, magic and love between people. Michele has great intuition and instincts….

~ Colette Stachan (an excerpt from Google Reviews)

….Michele captures more than just a moment, there’s emotion and memories all bundled into something tangible to look back on. Hiring Michele has been one of the best investments for our family, and we look forward to doing it again, and again.
