Meet baby Gage, born Saturday July 16, 2016 10:30am at a whopping 9 lbs! That’s one big little cutie for his small little mama Colette who I met through Kasia, a local yoga instructor who I had done photos for to show her work with expecting mama’s. Colette and her husband Rob where doing parental yoga classes with Kasia and after they saw their photos from that they decided to invite me to come and capture their son after he was born.
This lovely family were so down to earth and just over the moon about their new baby and each other, it was pretty impressive how much love they had for one another, I was moved from my time with them.
They had just found out that they would be moving to Alberta so we did the shoot in their apartment and around their local community in Port Coquitlam. It was pretty great when a train went by during their session as Colette was very close to her Grandfather and he worked with trains, a pretty special moment.
I am super excited that I get to see this lovely family again this spring for family photos, despite them moving away they will be in BC for a family visit and asked for me to fit in a photo session for them and of course I said yes!
