Vanessa and Steve were introduced to me by viewing me in action at their friend Anja & Leo’s wedding last year. When you have amazing clients, whose friends decide to hire you there is a good chance they will be equally as amazing and that sure was the case with these two.
I will be capturing their wedding this summer at Kumsheen Rafting Resort, which is where they met. I am pretty excited about heading up there with them, especially after doing this session with them. They were so fun, silly and easy going, and they love to dance (Vanessa is a dance instructor)! We went to Lighthouse Park for their engagement photos and we got super lucky as it had been raining all week and was clear on the day we went.
Vanessa wanted to climb trees and dance on the rocks, while I kept being the mom saying: only if it’s safe kids, and don’t get to close to the edge! Steve played along with Vanessa, but I could tell he was not so sure about the tree climbing, but before he could say much Vanessa was already perched so cutely in the tree!
After our session these love birds treated me to an amazing Mexican restaurant in New Westminster that I had never been to before, and as a self proclaimed foodie I was very happy to find this new jem called Taqueria Playa Tropical.
