I’m thrilled to share this Port Moody family photo shoot with you, because from start to finish, it was just such a sweet experience.
When I first met Victor, he let me know he was looking to treat his wife, Cadalina, to a special family session to celebrate her 50th birthday. Their eldest son is off at University, so this family shoot brought them all together to celebrate mom.
Port Moody: The Perfect Spot for a Family Photo Shoot
I met the family at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. They brought their dog Prince, a cute Labradoodle that made the shoot even sweeter. Fun fact about me: Dog people are my people. Always!

I love to capture candid, authentic photos, so we moved around the park, all the while chatting about how they have lived in many different places and are glad to call Port Moody home now. They live near the park, which is why they choose it as their photo shoot location.
Family Photo Shoot Tip:
Choose a location that is meaningful and puts you in your element as a family! Especially if you’re a little camera-shy, this will help you relax and enjoy the moment. Plus, the photos will be that much more special for it.

If you know me, you know that I absolutely love ice cream. I mean, who doesn’t? So when they decided to end the session with Rocky Point Ice Cream, I knew they were meant to be my clients!
Family Photos & Memories to Treasure for Generations
A few weeks after their session, I invited Mom & Dad back to my home for the big photo reveal! As they watched the slideshow I prepared for them, I saw Cadalina’s eyes light up, which always warms my heart.
While looking through the images, I helped them choose their favourites and decide on how they wanted to experience them. They decided that the Album Collection was the best fit for them, which included an album, and a full gallery of edited, digital images. And, they added on 10 matted prints! Mom truly got spoiled. (Great job, Dad!)
When the products arrived from Italy, I dropped them off at the family’s home. Victor was so glad that Cadalina was not home yet, because he wanted to surprise her when she got back! He’s such a sweet man, and he was so proud to gift her not only the session, but keepsakes she could treasure forever.
