What can I say about this family? The images already say so much.
You might remember Amelia from our Fort Langley Lifestyle Session. She was just two at the time. And getting comfortable with the camera was tough for her. We embraced the chaos – as I like to say – and captured great real-life moments. Tears and all.
But not this year! This year, Amelia was outgoing and loved getting silly for the camera.
In planning, we opted for a more natural surrounding. Derby Reach Park was the perfect setting with old cedar rail fences, beautiful trees and pretty mist over the grassy fields. And the late day timing couldn’t have been better.
This family was wonderful together, but I know Stacy rarely sees the front side of a lens. You see, she’s a photographer too. She started out a mentee and now she’s a regular on my wedding team – helping me out as a second shooter when needed.
Anyway, because moms are often the photographers, I encourage them to jump right in. Stacy and Amelia balanced playful and quiet moments perfectly. That’s why you see so many of the two of them. I just couldn’t take my finger off the shutter.
If you’re always behind the family camera, call me. I’ll ensure your family images include YOU!
